PhoenixZ wins runner up in startup category of the Australian iAWARDS

The iAWARDS are Australia's equivalent of the oscars and finalists are drawn to enter the overall national award. PhoenixZ is a pre-seed startup working on undersea communication and sensor systems building on prior transducer technology developed by Dr Zourab Brodzeli and commercialized with colleagues at Zedelef. It has successfully completed a novel prototype optical accelerometer and is accepting pre-orders. PhoenixZ has patented a new undersea communications technology integrating a range of existing and new technologies to enable communications between parties above and below sea anywhere. Opportunities for investment exist. www.phoenix-z.com.

AusSI Systems IP available for use

AusSI Systems was an early-stage startup founded by Dr Sandra Ast and co to develop smartphone-based diagnostics of lateral flow tests. Demonstrating the importance of timing, the company ceased operations prior to the Covid pandemic not attracting sufficient local investment. It had attracted international interest but the company founders were not prepared to relocate. The development and growth of rapid antigen tests for use at home revive the company's vision of home-based lateral flow tests as part of in-the-home medicine. AusSI Systems has IP designed to complement smartphone diagnostics. Therefore, the IP will be made available for negotiation to interested parties working in this space.
